Marysville resident for -  about 8 years  

Extracurricular activities at school (ex. which sports, what clubs, etc.) - National Honor Society, Radio Club

Awards from school -  the President's Education Award

Why you decided to compete for the Royalty Court - I was involved with the Strawberry Festival pageant last year, and I had a lot of fun with it. I thought it'd be a neat to experience it again, as a Royalty candidate. I honestly didn't expect to become Ambassador -- I just got lucky :)

What do you expect from this year as a Royalty representative - I expect: lots of strawberry shortcake, lots of waving, and lots of fun!.

Ever attended the Strawberry Festival? Yes!

If so, what is your favorite memory of the Festival - the Grand Parade, of course! To me, that IS the strawberry festival.

Who is your role model?    I've got two -- my brother Joey, and my sister Dawn.  

Why? My brother: because of his fresh, creative thinking, and his knowledge of all that is hip. My sister: because she knows how to have fun. also, She is a full-time volunteer for PAWS - nursing pets to health & finding them good homes.

Future plans (ex. which college, what profession, etc.) - I'm going to be attending the Evergreen State College this fall. I wanted to get into graphic design, but lately I've been dreaming of opening my own bagel shop :)

Your advice for future Royalty Candidates? Stay away from high heels -- use lots of hairspray and always carry lots of bobby pins to hold your crown in place.
