2006 ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE RELEASED!
Entertainment Chairperson Angie Miller is pleased to announce that the entertainment line-up for this year's Strawberry Festival has been set. She also is excited that Car Toys and their Aftershock Stage has returned to sponsor the events!
Friday will feature:
Shakeh described by CDBaby as "This engaging artist with an arresting vocal style between Melissa Etheridge and Joan Osborne describes her music as being Pop/Tale Rock. Pop/Rock with stories about love and life's deep and revealing as well as its silly and shallow aspects."
The Mark Whitman Band - winner of the Washington Blues Society's 2005 "Lifetime Achievement" Award & Sweet Talkin' Jones...winner of the Washington Blues Society's 2005 "Best Male Vocalist" Award.
Sub-Motive - Sub-Motive's influences range from classic rock bands such as The Beatles, AC/DC and Stevie Ray Vaughn to modern-day bands such as Green Day, Jet and Blink 182.
Slydeways - provides contemporary and classic rock-n-roll to fit most occasions.

Pookela Street Band - Welcome all massives, Kanaka's and all races. Po'okela Street Band a.k.a PSB has been electrifying crowds for the past nine years in Seattle with their unique fusion of Jamaican reggae and Hawaiian Island style rhythms to form a musical style known as "Jawaiian." This musical movement, developed in the early 90's in Hawaii, is gaining popularity in the Pacific Northwest due to the efforts of the band. They truly are the Hawaiian Reggae Ambassadors.
Mike Anderson - Mike Anderson is an 18 year old musician a senior at Mount Vernon High School. His music is his way of letting out the pain and anger that he so often holds inside.

Brickhouse Band - The Brickhouse Band is now releasing its relentless energy and driving rhythms throughout the Pacific Northwest! Whether you prefer the backbeat of 70's funk, smooth danceable R&B riffs, or current top 40 hits, the Brickhouse Band is guaranteed to get you out on the dance floor!
On Sunday, the feature will be:
Everett Youth Jazz All-Stars - Local youth organization.
Sunnyside Elementary Marimba Band - Local Elementary School band.
The Encounters - which will produce a K9 Koncert for Pennies for Puppies & Ponies. A five piece dance and party oriented rock group playing classic hits from the '60s through today. Each performance is a kind of celebration. From large private and corporate parties to small clubs, The Encounters put on shows that people will remember and want to experience again and again.
