From President Darrell Wigdahl.....

Throughout the Festival year, I have made it a point to try and show my appreciation and heartfelt THANK YOU to EVERYONE who played a part in the making our Festival successful. From our GREAT SPONSORS like the Tulalip Tribes, the Tulalip Casino, Roy Robinson Chevrolet/Subaru, North County Bank....and many more - to my Board of Directors and to the countless volunteers that worked tirelessly to show the world that we have a GREAT COMMUNITY - you have my sincerest THANK YOU! To all of the visitors who either came to the Grand Parade or the many other events - or participated in one of those events - I THANK YOU also - I hope that we have shown you that Marysville is VERY SPECIAL PLACE in our hearts!  My apologies to anyone that did not receive a personal THANK YOU FROM ME, or someone else. I would also like to get a list of names of those that were instrumental in the success of your events, volunteers and even board members and their role in the event.

So closes another Festival week for us here at Maryfest. The hours were long and grueling - the work, challenging, like it is every year. WE SHOULD ALL LOOK BACK at what we have accomplished. MOST EVERYONE that I heard from was impressed at the success of our Festival.  You should have heard the accolades WE ALL received at the Farewell Breakfast. I made it a point
to pass the credit on to all of you. At least I tried to. I did my best and will continue to do my best in the future to represent the festival throughout the year. I know that all of you have that same interest too. ALL of YOU!

I would like to schedule a critique meeting for next week on Tuesday (June 26th) at 7:00pm. I will check on the availability of the Strawberry Room.
