SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT

SPONSORS -Marysville Floral (flowers), NW Hair Academy (will be styling the Senior Royalty candidate's hair), The Tux Shop (Tuxs for the Escort and Master of Ceremonies), Creative Hands (providing crowns), Ted Wright of Coldwell Banker Real Estate (sound system), Marysville Performing Arts Centre (choreographer) and  North County Bank (providing a secure place to put all ballots until pageant night)

WHEN - Application Deadline:

     Senior Royalty - Sunday, January 10, 2010 Applications are now closed!

    Junior Royalty - Saturday, January 30, 2010 Applications are now closed!

     Senior Pageant - Saturday, March 20th, 2010 - 7:00pm

WHERE - Marysville-Pilchuck High School Auditorium

WHO - Marysville & Lakewood area teens who will be Juniors or Seniors the year of their reign. Applications are solicited in November for the upcoming year.

WHAT - Annual coronation of Strawberry Festival Royalty that will represent the City of Marysville in over 20 community festivals throughout the Northwest and Canada. Speaking engagements, talent performances, favorite memories and impromptu questions are all part of the path to a spot on the Court! This is the first official Strawberry Festival event of the year!

HOW MUCH - $10 for tickets; $5 for students with a valid school ASB card. Tickets are purchased at the door.

Festival Royalty have traditionally been the traveling ambassadors for the City of Marysville. The position is a demanding one in that the parade schedule is full and your smiling ability is put to the test each week.
