Have you ever attended the Strawberry Festival? Yes! If so, what is your favorite memory of the Festival? When I was younger, I took my sister on her first "big kid" ride. It was one that went upside down and stayed that way for a while. I remember us holding each other and screaming for dear life like little babies. Then afterwards we went on again, I think we went on repeatedly until we were out of tickets. It was my favorite ride. However, we got really sick that night.
Why did you decide to compete for the Royalty Court? I decided to compete after last year's Queen, Shelby Hintze, told me that I would have a lot of fun and that I should try it out. I also thought it would be a good idea to try something REALLY new and also to get involved with the community.
What is your favorite tv show and/or movie? I don't really watch tv, but my favorite movie is Forrest Gump.
What is your favorite song? I don't have just one favorite song, but I could give you a list of the top 200 if you would like!
What is the
last book that you read?
The last book I read was Goethe's Faust.
Who inspires you the most? My mom and stepdad. Why? My mom and stepdad inspire me the most because they are hard workers and excellent role models. They support me in everything that I do, and ever since I was little they have told me that I can do anything that I put my mind to.
If you were stranded on a deserted island – what would be the one thing that you would that you would miss most (other than your family and friends)? I would miss my camera because if I was stranded on a deserted island, I would want to take pictures of all of the cool plants and animals on the island.
If you could travel back in time, what year would you go to and why? I would go to the year 1943 because 43 is my favorite number and the 1940s seem to be the pivotal decade in history, since a lot of changes were occurring.
What advice can you give for
aspiring future Royalty Candidates?
I know this is said so much,
but honestly I would say to be yourself, life is a million times more fun. When
I first showed up to practices I was a little quiet and observant, and usually I
am always and outgoing. Once I opened up and was just myself I realized that I
was having so much more fun than in the beginning.
