Why you decided to compete for the Royalty Court? Running for the Royalty Court was an amazing experience, a time for me to improve my self confidence.  I wanted to grow as an individual, improve my self esteem, and take a chance.  Besides the friendships I knew I would make, the
experiences I would have, It was a wonderful opportunity for a scholarship.

What do you expect from this year as a Royalty Representative? I am so excited for all of the traveling to come!  I love Cassie and Brooklynn, they are so sweet and wonderful Ladies.  I know we will become the best of
friends for a lifetime!  I am also excited to develop a great relationship with each board member of Maryfest.  It is truly a blessing to have this experience, to share our laughs and smiles together, and I am sure there will be so many!

Ever attended the Strawberry Festival?  YES!!

If so, what is your favorite memory of the Festival? I absolutely loved sitting on the sidewalk with my family, watching the parades on a hot sunny evening.  The thrill of seeing the faces of people I knew, my friends and family in the parade was so exhilarating.

Who is your role model? My Mom and my Grandma!

Why? My Mom and my Grandma are my role models.  They have always supported me in every decision I have ever made.  My Mom is my rock.  Through the good times and the bad, she has always been by my side, cheering me on, wishing me the best of luck.  She gives my light in my darkest days and is always there to lift me back up after I fall!  She has given me such beautiful wings, that I know no matter where I go in my life I will be blessed.  My Grandma gives me the inspiration I need to become someone special that can make a difference in our world.  She
gives me a reason to keep trying, someone to look up to, and a smile that never quits!  Thanks so much Mom and Grandma!  I'll love you forever, I'll love you for always! As long as I'm living, In my life you'll be!

Future plans  - After I finish high school, I would love to become a missionary.  However, I know my education comes first.  I am planning on attending a four year university.  My goal is to become a nurse practitioner in the OB/GYN field with a minor in Spanish.

Your advice for future Royalty Candidates - Keep your head held high and always keep a smile on your beautiful face!  Be proud of yourself and your community!  Represent Marysville in a wonderful way! Laugh a lot and have a great time.  Always have a great attitude and be polite
to everyone you meet!  This is the opportunity of a lifetime so take advantage of it!  You only live once!!
