Princess Cassy Mead

Parent’s names - Peggy and Todd Mead     

Born where - Marysville, Washington 

Marysville/Lakewood resident for - 12 1/2 years

High School - Cedarcrest Middle School (6th Grade)

School Activities  - Drama Club

Awards from school - I was chosen for leadership next year. I am an honor student and last year I got best writer of the class award.

Continuing Education (College, Trade school, etc.) - I want to go to the University of California at Davis.

College Major - Veterinary School and specialize in equine care.

Have you ever attended the Strawberry Festival?  Yes! If so, what is your favorite memory of the Festival? I loved seeing little kids faces light up when they see the floats.

Why did you decide to compete for the Royalty Court? I wanted to inspire others and I wanted to do more for my community.

What is your favorite tv show and/or movie? The Horse Whisperer.

What is your favorite song? Cuppy cake song.

What is the last book that you read? Maximum Ride novel.

Who inspires you the most? A little girl named Kaylah. Why? Because she beat cancer at 4 years old and never stopped smiling.

If you were stranded on a deserted island – what would be the one thing that you would that you would miss most (other than your family and friends)? My dogs, my fish and my horses.

If you could travel back in time, what year would you go to and why? To the year when the Constitution was written, because I would want to see how our country was founded.

What advice can you give for aspiring future Royalty Candidates? This opportunity doesn't come everyday so make the most of it and have fun.
