SEDRO WOOLLEY

by Carol Kapua:

It was a cold 4th of July in Sedro Woolley. It was wonderful to have all 6 of our Royalty there. Haley, Ella and Kaija rode the float and Casey, Piper and Cassie walked with Angie. Monique and her son carried the banner. DC, Arvin, Teresa, Rick and Ricky walked with the float. Alice was there to get us to and fro. Ricky rolled with the float and did a great job especially with the young ladies along the route. It was a great crowd and we all had lots of fun. Chuck was our driver. After the parade we had our picnic and then it was home to take a nap. At least for me. Great crew and a great job by all. Hopefully Ella will set her alarm next time. It was amazing that the last time I looked at the float she was not there and then all of a sudden she appeared. Think she is in training to take my place.

We have a break this coming weekend and then our next parade is 7/17/10 is Capitol Lakefair, then Seattle Hi-Yu on 7/24/10, then Chinatown on 7/25/10 and rounding out the month of July is Seattle Seafair on 7/31/10. If you have time we could use you.

We had birthdays on July 5th and that would be Greg Edwards and Vaughn Van Zant. Two firecrackers if I ever knew any. Happy Birthday to you both.

If anyone found a camera, mine is missing in action. Please let me know. Vaughn will not buy me another one. This is the 3rd one.

Hope you all had a great fourth. Buddy did not have a good week. It still is not good as the fireworks are still going off.

Take care...
